Application Questions
Which grating suits outdoor walkways and platforms?
For most outdoor routes we recommend Q235B carbon steel with hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123 / ISO 1461. In marine or chloride-rich zones, SS316 stainless is the safer specification. Tell us the environment, span and load — we confirm the specification inside the 24-hour quote.
What load classes are available for trench and gully covers?
Drainage covers are commonly specified to EN 124 classes such as C250 for carriageways and D400 for heavy traffic. We produce to the class your project names, supported by test reports on request.
Can stair treads be matched to an existing flight?
Yes — treads are cut and banded to your drawings with plain or serrated surfaces and bolted end plates. Send the flight dimensions and quantity; samples ship in 5–7 working days.
