From Certified Steel to a Bridge Deck Panel
1 · Grade in, verified in
Structural Q235B heats arrive with their mill test certificate to EN 10204 Type 3.1, verified at goods-in — the first of our five QC stages before a bar reaches the line.
2 · Panels formed to the span
Bearing bars from 20×3 mm to 100×8 mm at 30 / 40 / 60 mm centers are electro-forged into one solid panel — sized to your stringer spacing, banded on the edges.
3 · Finished for exposure
Exposed decks go to our certified galvanizing partner for ASTM A123 / ISO 1461 hot-dip galvanizing — typically 2–3 days, already inside the production window. Chloride-heavy crossings run SS316 instead.

What steel grade is used for steel bridge grating?
Q235B structural carbon steel is our standard grade for footbridge and service-bridge decks, with SS316 stainless where chloride exposure is high. Every heat enters production with its mill test certificate verified — certified and tested, reports on request.
Can you supply vehicular bridge decks?
Pedestrian and service-bridge decks are our standard steel bridge grating scope. Vehicular road bridge decks are quoted per project only — send span, traffic class and fixing layout, and we will confirm what we can produce to.
What finish and lead time should I plan for?
Hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123 / ISO 1461 is the default for exposed decks; SS316 is the alternative in marine and de-icing-salt zones. Samples ship in 5–7 working days and production runs 15–25 working days after drawing confirmation, galvanizing included.
