1 · Water goes through, not across
Openings between bearing bars let rain and wash water drop straight through the deck, so the walking surface never carries a film of water — no ponding, no frozen sheets on the cross-fall.
2 · Lightweight open flooring
Open-mesh panels carry the same pedestrian duty with less steel per square metre than a solid deck — a lighter dead load for the bridge structure to carry in the first place.
3 · Hot-dip galvanized for exposure
Bridge decks live in wind, rain and de-icing spray. Panels go to a certified galvanizing partner near our mill for ASTM A123 / ISO 1461 hot-dip galvanizing — typically 2–3 days, already counted inside your production window.
