The Steel Trench Drain System as One Bill of Materials
A finished run never arrives as one product. It arrives as a schedule: grating panels that carry the traffic, a channel body that carries the water, and the end details that close and drain the line. Specifying a steel trench drain system line by line is how you keep a site from discovering a missing end cap after the pour.
One honesty note before the table: grating panels and channel bodies are fabricated in our own workshop, to your drawings. End caps, outlets, edge frames and fixings are sourced companion items — we quote them on the same schedule and ship them with the order, so one delivery closes the run.

Cross-Section, Long Section, Panel
1 · Across the run
Grating sits on edge frames, the body hangs below, and the paving bears on either side. Every dimension in this view comes from your layout.
2 · Along the run
One slope plane, one end cap at the dead end, one outlet at the low point. Storm water that lands anywhere on the run has exactly one way to go.
3 · The panel itself
Bearing bars span the channel, cross bars hold spacing, banded edges close the panel. Cut to run segments up to 6 m long and 1.25 m wide.
