The fixing method is a panel-level decision you make before ordering, because it changes the banding and the edge preparation. Here is the honest trade-off.

Read a Grate Panel: Bearing Bars, Cross Bars, Banding
Every metal grate panel — welded or press-locked — is the same four decisions: dimensions, load direction, banding and fixing. Get these right on the drawing and the floor goes together without surprises.

Four decisions on every panel order
Panel dimensions
Standard panels run up to 1.25 m wide and 6 m long. Any size below that is cut to your layout, so large floors become several panels butt-jointed on supports — fewer joints, straighter runs.
Load direction — mark the arrows
Bearing bars must span across your supports, because they carry the load. Draw arrows on your layout in the direction of traffic; our drawing review checks them before anything is cut.
Banding type
Flat-bar banding closes the panel ends and is the default. A raised toe plate is optional for floor edges where small objects must not be kicked over the side.
Fixing method
Removable floors take saddle clips; permanent, vibrating or wheel-loaded floors are welded. See the comparison above — the choice changes the edge preparation.
