Stock Designations vs Custom Dimensions
A bar grating panel can be ordered from Dengtai two ways: by a 19W4-style stock designation, or by your own dimensions. Both are made to order on the same in-house lines — the difference is only how precisely the panel is cut.

How to Read a 19W4-Style Designation
North American drawings often name panels with a compact NAAMM-style designation. Once you can read it, one short code tells the factory the bar spacing, the construction and the cross-bar pitch.

Bearing bar spacing
Spacing in sixteenths of an inch: 19/16 in ≈ 30 mm centers — the close of our three standard lines.
W
Construction type
W = welded (electro-forged); P = press-locked. Both processes run in our own workshop.

Cross bar spacing
Cross bars at 4 in ≈ 100 mm centers. A code ending in 2 means a denser 2 in ≈ 50 mm pitch.
