The same core runs on our in-house lines either way: pressure-welded for heavy spans or press-locked for close mesh — both fully galvanizable.
3 · Full-immersion HDG + checks
Finished panels are hot-dip galvanized after fabrication, so cut edges and welds get coated too — then coating thickness is sampled on every batch before release.

Should I order black steel or galvanized steel grating?

How is the galvanized coating verified?
After full-immersion hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123 / ISO 1461 reference, coating thickness is checked by sampling on every galvanized batch before panels are released. Galvanizing runs at a certified partner plant near our mill and typically takes 2–3 days, already counted inside the 15–25 day production window.
